Honolulu-based photographer Olivier Koning has been a resident of Hawai'i for 40 years and both attended the University of Hilo and Manoa. It is during his 10 years as in-house photographer with the international architectural firm Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo that he developed a keen sense for architectural photography. He has been freelancing for the past 20 years. His recent series of native Hawaiian flora, "The First Hawaiians", is represented by HO‘OMAIKA‘I at Nā Mea and can be viewed at Nā Mea Native Books atThe Ward Warehouse in Honolulu.
